Supervision details
I have a Diploma in Clinical Supervision in the Health Professions with experience in individual and group supervision and I teach on the supervision training course at NHS Aneurin Bevan University Health Board .
My approach is person-centred and psychodynamic. I will work with you to explore unconscious processes and provide a safe, supportive space in which you can gain new perspectives on your work. I use a variety of models including, as an art therapist, creative and playful techniques to bypass unconscious defences and reach new understanding.
I believe good supervision involves mutual trust and respect, curiosity and openness, both support and challenge and room for personal and professional growth.
My standard rate is £50 per session with a reduced rate of £45 for students/trainees.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
