Supervision details
I take a creative and embodied approach to my work as a clinical supervisor. Having provided informal supervision throughout the past decade, I formally trained to become a supervisor in 2019/20 with Anna Chesner, co-director of the London Centre for Psychodrama. I believe that good supervision has the potential to nurture and energise not only our clinical work but also ourselves as therapists.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
