Supervision details

I am currently training as a supervisor and completing an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online and Telephone Working via Counselling Tutor.

My approach:

My approach is integrative with a person-centred, trauma informed core. I’ve worked in a range of settings in both private practice and the third sector, in person and online, and have experience working with young people, adults, and groups. I’ve helped develop new charity pilot projects across Leeds, and have experience as a counselling co-ordinator. I also have additional training and interest in working with trauma, identity, and bereavement. I know how challenging – and rewarding – this work can be, and I’m here to offer a supportive space for you to reflect, grow, and navigate your practice with confidence.

Supervision model:

I am currently training in the 7-Eyed Model of supervision, a holistic, flexible, and insightful approach that explores not just the work you do with your clients, but the wider picture. This means we’ll consider your personal and professional growth, your relationship with clients, and the broader systems that influence your work.

Supervision Offer:

As a trainee supervisor, I am currently offering:

- Reduced rates of £40 per hour, £60 for 90 minutes
- Flexible options - Sessions can be offered face-to-face in Leeds, or remotely by video or phone.
- A collaborative, non-judgmental space: supervision is a partnership, and I’ll work alongside you to celebrate your strengths, explore challenges, and find new perspectives to bring to your work.
- A focus on your professional development and well-being: ensuring you feel supported across all areas in your practice.
- A free 30 minute no-obligation/pressure introductory meeting: this can be either over the phone or by video to give us a chance to meet and see if we're a good fit.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you're looking for one-off support or regular supervision, feel welcome to get in touch to ask any questions, or to book in for a chat to discuss how we might work together.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
