Supervision details

Are you a counsellor or therapist seeking support and guidance with your client work? Look no further—I offer clinical supervision tailored to your specific needs. With my integrative approach and extensive experience, I can provide the educational, supportive, restorative, and managerial elements necessary to enhance your professional development and ensure quality client care.

With over two years of experience in supervising social work students, interns, and volunteers within a mental health charity, I understand the unique challenges and complexities that arise in therapeutic practice. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role as a supervisor, supporting you in navigating and addressing the various dynamics and issues that may arise in your work with clients.

In my supervision sessions, I incorporate diverse therapeutic approaches, drawing from my extensive background as a therapist with over six years of clinical experience. This integrative approach allows me to tailor the supervision process to align with your individual preferences and cases.

Furthermore, I am currently midway through a professional course and actively completing my placement hours. This ongoing training ensures that I stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and continually enhance my skills and knowledge as a supervisor.

In addition to my supervisory role, I possess thirteen years of experience working therapeutically with women who have mental health needs. This background has provided me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by women in therapy and informs my approach to supervision, particularly in supporting practitioners working with women-specific concerns.

If you are seeking a supervisor who can provide a supportive, enriching, and individualised approach to your professional growth, I invite you to reach out to me. Together, we can navigate the complexities of your client work and enhance your therapeutic skills, ensuring the highest quality of care for your clients.

Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your supervision needs. I look forward to the opportunity to support and empower you on your journey as a counsellor or therapist.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
