Supervision details
I established Time2B Therapies to provide Clinical Supervision and counselling to both trainee and qualified professionals working within Counselling, Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching and Social Work.
I pride myself on taking a holistic approach to supervision. My goal is to provide a unique experience for every therapist that wishes to explore their practice in a gentle and holistic way. For each supervisee this means that their experience of supervision will be unique & tailored to their needs. Therefore, the key is working within and developing our relationship to provide an experience of supervision that promotes growth and support.
I provide Therapy and Supervision for Qualified and Trainee therapists across a broad range for disciplines and modalities. My specialisms are in working with Counselling in Schools, Young Adults, Bereavement, Palliative Care, Trauma & Dissociative Identity Disorder. However, I also have experience working with a wide range of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Low self-esteem, school related issues to name a few.
My approach is based on the belief that therapy and supervision provides space to change & grow. Change can often feel difficult so I aim to work with you to find a place of calm and positivity. It is a journey that can be shared to help ease the burden. When it becomes challenging it can be worked out together. The power to find the solutions we seek is in all of us. It is when we are truly heard, and our truth is acknowledged that we can find these solutions.
For in person sessions I am based in Verwood, within easy reach of West Moors, Ferndown, Ringwood, Wimborne, Bournemouth & Salisbury. Although I have supervisees from much further afield as well.
If you would like online sessions I am available to work with anyone working within the United Kingdom. I use TeleHealth or Zoom for online video calls.
I work in an Integrative way, utilising the Seven eyed model of Supervision. This focusses on seven areas that bring together the client, therapist and supervisor, how they relate to each other and the wider system. This is an holistic approach ensuring that all aspects of the clients therapeutic experience is explored within supervision. It can be adapted across modality and therapeutic approaches and is invaluable for trainee supervisors through to experienced practitioners.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
