Supervision details

I work as Director, Clinical Supervisor and Senior Counsellor at Time2B Therapies.  Time2B was established to provide a general counselling practice with a passion for supporting Adults, Teenagers and children facing a wide range of issues.  Time2B also provides Clinical Supervision to a wide range of counsellors, therapists and mental health practitioners.

We pride ourselves on taking a unique approach to supervision.  Our goal is to provide a unique experience for every therapist that wishes to explore their practice in a gentle and holistic way.   For each supervisee this means that their experience of supervision will be unique and tailored to their needs.  Therefore, the key is working within and developing our relationship to provide an holistic experience of supervision that promotes growth and support.

I provide Therapy and Supervision for Qualified and Trainee therapists across a broad range for disciplines and modalities.  My specialisms are in working with Bereavement, Palliative Care, Trauma & Dissociative Identity Disorder.  However, I also have experience working with a wide range of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Low self-esteem, school related issues to name a few.

I work with neurodiverse and neurotypical clients & supervisees.  I have specific specialism in supporting individuals through the diagnosis process for conditions like Autism and ADHD.  This includes support for the client to adjust to a new diagnosis and support for them with school, college, university and the workplace.

My approach is based on the belief that therapy and supervision provides space to change & grow.  Change from difficulty or distress to a place of calm and positivity.  It is a journey that can be shared to help ease the burden.  When it becomes challenging it can be worked out together.  The power to find the solutions we seek is in all of us.  It is when we are truly heard, and our truth is acknowledged that we can find these solutions.

Time2B Therapies is based in Three Legged Cross, within easy reach of Verwood, Ferndown, Ringwood, Wimborne and Bournemouth.  Although we have clients from much further afield as well.

You have the option to have your sessions either in person in our comfortable counselling rooms, or Online via Therapy Lock or Zoom.

I work in an Integrative way, incorporating aspects of Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy.  As forementioned this is combined to create an approach that will support and help you to explore the issues you face.

As a supervisor I use the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision and the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) of Supervision.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
