Supervision details
I am able to use a variety of supervisory frameworks as scaffolding. I am happy to be led by the individual needs of supervisees and will happily discuss whatever supervisees bring. I tend to focus on the psychological processes of what go on during therapy sessions. I find that helping supervisees reflect on their practice and consider their experiences of therapy sessions is often the aspect that yields the most positive results.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
