Supervision details
Supervision provides a reflective space in which you can explore all aspects of your practice for the benefit of your clients. We may focus on any or all of the following: your clinical work, your personal/professional development, the context of your practice, developing your own praxis and the impact of societal/global events on your practice.
I have a particular interest in the use of supervision for professional and personal development. For many practitioners, our work contributes to the social change we would like to see; together we can explore the values and beliefs that guide your practice, identify your client focus and challenge any imposter syndrome or gaps in competency that might be holding you back.
Supervision is beneficial for anyone who may carry an emotional load as part of their practice. This could be more obvious professions like counselling, coaching, advocacy, nursing, support workers etc but may also include customer service, helpline staff, teachers, managers or researchers. The list is not exhaustive, please email me at lw.counselling@outlook.com if you think that you or your organisation could benefit from supervision.
