I qualified in 2010 with an MA in Music Therapy from Roehampton University and have over a decade of experience working in child and adolescent mental health and special needs. I am also a Placement Manager for Roehampton University Psychology Department, and am Director and Senior Therapist at Meraki Creative Therapies. I continue to work privately and in schools, working with trauma, abuse, attachment issues, mental health problems, self harm, family breakdown etc. I draw on a range of approaches in my work, including psychodynamic, integrative, creative and systemic. I love working with trainee and qualified therapists to help them develop their practice and work through potential issues within their caseload. Whether you are a Psychotherapists (Arts) or some other form of therapist looking to develop a more creative and integrative approach then do get in touch. I'd love to hear from you.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
