Supervision details
Clinical Supervision for Therapists (Qualified and In-Training) Working with Young People 13+ and Adults.
I offer a supportive, collaborative supervision space for therapists who want to reflect deeply on their practice, develop confidence, and stay connected to themselves in their work.
My approach is grounded in person-centred values, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, empathy, and authenticity. Alongside talking-based reflection, I also offer the option of working more experientially, especially using clay, for those who are interested in a different, more hands-on way of exploring their work. I encourage the use of body awareness, noticing what’s happening somatically as part of the supervision process, and draw on creative methods such as metaphor and imagery, to access deeper insight and shift stuck dynamics.
I hold a British Psychological Society (BPS) certificate in 'Essential Supervision Skills in Clinical Supervision', completed in March 2024, which supports my integrative and ethically grounded approach to supervisory practice. My supervision practice is grounded in two key frameworks:
- The Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision (Hawkins & Shohet), which explores client work through multiple relational and systemic lenses.
- Proctor’s Three Function Model, which supports a balance between development, ethical reflection, and emotional support.
Whether you're a trainee finding your voice or a qualified practitioner seeking space to reflect, I aim to offer a supervisory relationship that is supportive, reflective, and empowering.
Who I Work With:
- Trainee counsellors needing supervision for training and placement requirements.
- Qualified practitioners seeking reflective, ethical, and relational support for their ongoing practice.
- Groups of counsellors, with supervision offered both online and in-person (in-person availability is location dependent).
Sessions available online or in person.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
