Supervision details
Hello,
My approach to supervision reflects the same values I bring to my client work: creating a space where you feel truly heard, seen, and supported. Supervision with me is collaborative and non-judgmental, offering a safe environment to explore both the challenges and the successes in your clinical practice. My aim is to help you grow in confidence, develop your skills, and feel resourced in the important work you do. I love being a supervisor! I enjoy working together to explore the puzzle pieces of the work we do and figure out the parts of the work that feel tricky or stuck. My main areas of work presently are around working with adults who have been through traumatic experiences and helping them process the trauma and shift towards self compassion.
I begin each session with a check-in, as I know how important it is that you feel part of the supervision process , not just your client work. Who you are in the room has a significant impact on the therapeutic work you deliver, and I want supervision to be a space where your experience is held with care.
I am passionate about supporting therapists at all stages of their career whether you are newly qualified and building your foundations, or experienced and seeking a reflective space to deepen your practice. I particularly enjoy exploring what your goals are, CPD interests, potential transference and taking a curious, thoughtful approach to the work we do together, often going deep into the clinical material to uncover new insights.
I run a thriving private practice in the centre of Ashby, alongside a team of 11 therapists. I have over nine years’ experience as a psychotherapist, working across a variety of clinical settings and with different age groups. My current practice focuses mainly on adults, where I integrate EMDR, psychotherapy, and art therapy. I specialise in working with trauma and listening to shame, and I also have extensive experience supporting clients with a diagnosis of ASD/ADHD.
If you would like to explore whether I am the right fit as your supervisor, I would be very happy to have an initial conversation. All questions are welcome.
I can offer 50 mins or 1hr30 sessions depending on your registering body's requirements or your preferred needs.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
