Supervision details
I offer clinical supervision to trainee and qualified psychologists, counsellors, and psychotherapists. I have over 20 years’ experience in mental health and therapeutic settings, including NHS CAMHS, education, residential care, and private practice. This gives me a broad perspective on therapeutic work with children, young people, and adults.
I aim to offer a thoughtful, reflective, and supportive space where you can deepen your clinical practice, explore relational dynamics, and grow in confidence. My supervision style is integrative and flexible, and I tailor sessions to your modality, training stage, and client group.
I welcome supervisees from all backgrounds and have a particular interest in supporting therapists of African or Caribbean heritage. My intention is to offer a space where you can bring your full self into supervision - without feeling the need to explain or translate your lived experience.
I also welcome trainee psychologists, including those on doctoral training programmes, and enjoy supporting early-career practitioners as they develop their clinical voice.
Supervision is available online or in person in Stroud. I offer regular ongoing supervision as well as one-off consultation sessions.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
