Supervision details
I am a recently qualified clinical supervisor and have experience working with counsellors, trainees and non clinical staff. My current work includes private practice offering open ended therapy and short term interventions through EAP work. I also work within a mental health team in a forensic setting as a counsellor providing time limited therapy with a focus on trauma, complex trauma, childhood abuse as well as social justice, power imbalance and self harm and suicide. I work with individuals and groups with a variety of issues from depression and anxiety to OCD and psychosis. I also have experience of working with individuals with personality disorder.
My therapeutic style is integrative with a pluralistic ethos which means collaboration and meta communication is really important to me. My supervisory identity compliments how I work as a therapist using existential, psychodynamic and narrative models. I also incorporate parts of self and somatic work within my practice.
I would be interested in working with therapists with a similar therapeutic style but not exclusively. I am offering one to one supervision and hope to set up group supervision and experiential groups in the future.
