Supervision details
Supervision is an essential part of safe and supported practice. A good supervision relationship can make the difference to how well held you feel in your practice. If feeling appropriately supported by an experienced supervisor it can make your working life more enriched, rewarding and enjoyable. I am an experienced supervisor with over 16 years experience providing supervision to Clinical Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Health Visitors and Social Workers through the NHS and in independent practice. I have completed post doctoral training in supervision in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Systemic, Neuropsychological and Advanced Supervision with the North Thames Clinical Psychology training. I am an accredited EMDR Therapist and have completed my Child and Young People EMDR Training with Alice Vine. Third wave approaches such as ACT, CFT and mindfulness are core aspects of my current practice. I am offering online supervision via secure video conferencing.
British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
