I supervise trainees and trained counsellors following the Hawkins & Shohet model of supervision which is educative supportive and managerial. I work relationally drawing on my experience as a counsellor and manager to help them develop self awareness, deliver self care and best practice. I closely follow the B.A.C.P ethical framework to enable counsellors to work safely and ethically to professional standards within their level of competence .I aim to promote their growth and confidence through the fine balance of support and challenge.
