Supervision details

I offer person-centred, down-to-earth supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainees who want a safe, supportive space to reflect on their work. I have a particular interest in supporting practitioners who feel deeply - those who experience clients’ emotions intensely, both emotionally and physically, and may sometimes find it wearing or overwhelming.

Having experienced supervision that felt cold or dismissive, I know how isolating it can be when a supervisor doesn’t appreciate the power of your sensitivity. Sensitivity is often misunderstood as a weakness, but I see it as an incredible strength and wonderful tool in helping clients heal. As a highly sensitive practitioner, I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can reflect, process, and feel truly understood.

In supervision, I help you process feelings of sadness, empathy, or overwhelm, build resilience, and use your sensitivity as a strength, so you can support your clients effectively while staying safe and grounded yourself.

I provide reflective, collaborative supervision for practitioners at any stage, whether you’re a trainee building confidence or an experienced counsellor seeking space to grow and reflect.

Sessions are offered online at £90 per 90 minutes. Everyone deserves access to high-quality supervision. If fees are a barrier, I encourage you to reach out so we can discuss options.

If you’re looking for supervision that’s warm, empowering, and genuinely supportive, I’d love to work with you.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
