Supervision details
Are you looking for a supervisor who empowers and supports you to really understand and develop your client work in an environment that allows honest and transparent conversations?
I help counsellors confidently deepen their skills, develop their own therapeutic identity and think about their client work in different and more insightful ways- so that you leave supervision feeling renewed, confident and supported ready to be the best therapist you can for your clients.
I am a BACP accredited integrative counsellor trained to degree level since 2017 and a qualified level 6 supervisor. I work with both qualified and student counsellors.
I believe supervision should be a place you look forward to coming, a place you feel supported, challenged and empowered.
My aim is to provide you with a safe space for exploration, one professional to another. I am warm, empathic and open and supporting you is at the heart of my supervision work. I create an encouraging environment to empower you to think about your work in new and deeper ways, leading you to be able to offer your clients the best therapy you can and making sure you’re safe and well doing it.
I am an accredited member of the BACP with experience in private practice, EAP work and for the NHS. All my work is in line with the BACP ethical framework. I am trained integratively in person centred, psychodynamic, CBT, TA and attachment theory. I have worked with clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attachment, self-esteem, relationship issues, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, trauma and my work in the NHS was solely centred around addiction.
Our supervision isn’t about just looking at the interventions used and why, using the seven eyed model and IDM, we put you and your clients at the focus of our work. Exploring the relationships between you as the counsellor, your clients and our relationship as your supervisor.
I work with all counsellors at whatever stage of your journey you may be at from student to qualified. I offer a space to explore and support you entering into the world of private practice and I also offer mentoring services for those who are undertaking BACP accreditation.
I offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation to make sure we are the right fit. Supervision is an important part your work and it is vital you feel comfortable in our work together for you gain the best for both you and your clients.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
