I have 20 years experience of working in Mental Health Services across the NHS and voluntary sector. Since 2017 I have been employed part-time as Manager, Staff Counsellor, Supervisor, and Trainer for a local Counselling Agency. I also run a thriving private practice from my office at home in Aboyne. At this time, due to Covid-19 I am doing the majority of my counselling and supervision work via web-based video, or phone and have completed Certificate-level training in remote counselling.

In 2020 I completed a Certificate in Clinical Supervision, consolidating and building on my knowledge and experience. I'm now pleased to be able to offer Person-Centred Supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists. My hope in my practice with supervisees is that we'll build a relationship of mutual trust and respect which will allow you to share yourself and your work with me, so that I can support you in your practice. I endeavour to facilitate reflection and reflexivity, leading to a deeper understanding of yourself and your process with clients.

I am very happy to offer a free session for us to get to know each other before we decide to go forward with regular meetings.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
