Supervision details
I'm a counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor with NHS experience supporting adults and younger people across Hampshire and Surrey. I began practicing as a counsellor in 2015 and have worked with counselling agencies in the private and public / charity sector. I work with adults as well as young people from the ages of 10 and up on a one-to-one basis.
As a supervisor, I have experience providing peer and group supervision in my NHS role. I have considerable experience working with practitioners who are still in training and those who are newly qualified, helping them learn, grow and establish their careers. My supervision approach is collaborative, aiming to foster a positive working relationship so we can explore your process, the experiences of the people you're working with and the wider systems that we are a part of, which may have an impact.
As a relational practitioner, I put great emphasis in the importance of our working dynamic to achieve balance between us. We work together to do what is right for your clients, keeping them at the centre of everything. I am proactive and want to be available outside of scheduled sessions to discuss emergencies should they arise or take action and help in other ways, such as if you need me to complete references or reports.
I am experienced in working with short-term, solution-focused approaches within my NHS and 6th Form College settings, as well as a long-term, open-ended approach through private practice. I am flexible in how I offer supervision, which would be either in person at my practice in Aldershot, Hampshire, or online / via telephone. My fee is £75 for each 90 minute session with a concessionary rate of £55 for student counsellors.
I'd be delighted to discuss your supervision requirements so please get in touch and we can see how we can work together. I look forward to hearing from you!

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
