Supervision details
I am a professional counsellor and counselling supervisor experienced in working with young people and adults. I am a registered member of the NCS and work in accordance with the Ethical Framework for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I have a successful private practice offering counselling and supervision. My life experience and working background is broad and diverse. I have worked with different charities/agencies supporting people from all walks of life. Most recently I held the Clinical Lead role for a North Somerset counselling charity. My training includes – Diploma in Supervision (Advanced NCS approved, Level 7), Diploma (Level 7) in Counselling Children and Young People, FdSc (Distinction) in Counselling from the University of Gloucestershire, Certificate in Pastoral Counselling Skills from Network Training. I have also completed the Transactional Analysis 101 course and qualified with Cruse Bereavement Care as a Bereavement Volunteer. I work relationally within an integrative therapeutic approach and draw primarily on Inskipp and Proctor’s Functional Model and Hawkins & Shohet’s Seven Eyed Model of Supervision to hold, explore and develop your practice.
