Supervision details

I offer a reflective, collaborative supervision space where you can think openly about your client work and develop confidence in your practice.

My approach is grounded in humanistic principles, with a non-expert stance that supports you to develop your own understanding, rather than feeling you need to “get it right.”

Supervision with me is intended to feel:

  • supportive but not passive
  • thoughtful and grounded
  • gently challenging where needed

We will work together to:

  • explore your client work honestly
  • develop clarity around clinical decisions
  • support both your professional and personal growth

I am a qualified and accredited supervisor, having completed a Diploma in Clinical Supervision with Northside Training - a comprehensive training involving extensive practice, teaching and assessment.

Alongside supervision, I run a busy private practice and have been fully booked for many years. This means my supervision is grounded in the realities of ongoing therapeutic work.

I work with:

  • trainees
  • newly qualified therapists
  • experienced practitioners
  • therapists working with long-term or complex client work

A willingness to reflect openly and engage with the process is important.

I am mindful that many therapists carry experiences of educational or evaluative environments that can feel exposing or difficult.

I aim to create a supervision space that feels de-shaming, collaborative, and balanced, while still offering the challenge needed for development.

This includes paying attention to:

  • relational dynamics
  • parallel process
  • your identity, modality, and stage of development

Supervision can be:
thought-provoking, challenging, encouraging, messy, and at times enjoyable and energising.

My role is to support you to navigate that process with greater clarity and confidence.

I offer supervision:

  • face-to-face
  • online
  • by telephone
  • outdoors (walk-and-talk)

Prior to training as a therapist, I worked for many years in website design.

If helpful, I can also offer guidance around:

  • websites
  • online presence
  • basic SEO

This is always secondary to client work, but available as an additional resource.

I am an Accredited Professional Registrant (PNCPS Acc.) with the NCPS.

Initial Contact
I offer a free 30-minute initial conversation to see whether we would be a good fit to work together.

If we decide to proceed, we will agree a supervision contract in our first session.
