Supervision details
I provide supervision for fully qualified and trainee Psychologists, psychotherapists and Counsellors. I have undergone extensive BPS training in supervision skills and I am eligible for registration in the BPS Register of applied psychology practice supervisors (RAPPS). I believe that supervision is a space for learning, sharing best practise, developing and reflecting. We will create a contract of supervision in our first session and from there we will work together to create a collaborative learning environment. I am able to offer supervision for a range of therapeutic models. I have undergone training in the three major models (person centred, CBT and psychodynamic) I also work with ACT, CFT and offer an integrative approach in my clinical work.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
