Supervision details
I am qualified supervisor for CYP IAPT CBT and have seven years experience supervising within NHS CAMHS. For four of these years I have been the senior cognitive behavioural therapist undertaking the role of supervising all of the trainee IAPT CBT and EEBP practitioners. I have also been part of the treatment and supervision team for the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) team for two years. I am currently working at the University of Derby as Program Lead for the CYP IAPT CBT PG Diploma and lead on the weekly supervision groups for the students on the course. For the purposes of a supervision relationship, you can visit my base at Burslem Enterprise Centre, room 14, Moorland Road, ST6 1JQ. There may also be potential to meet at a more mutually convenient location (small surcharge for mileage may apply). I also provide Skype/Facetime/Telephone supervision if this is more convenient. Fees for Supervision are £75 per hour, £110 per hour and a half or £140 for two hours.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
