Supervision details
I am a qualified supervisor in dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT), trained at the Anna Freud Centre and registered with the BPC. I have had experience supervising counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainee psychologists at primary and secondary care levels within the NHS.
I am trained to provide supervision in dynamic, interpersonal, cognitive and interpersonal models across a wide variety of clinical presentations. The feedback I have had from supervisees is that they enjoy supervision and that it has deepened and added to the quality of their clinical work. I offer FaceTime/Skype supervision.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
