I began supervising counsellors in 1994.
My experience as a supervisor has included the supervision of both experienced and trainee counsellors, both individuals and groups.I have also supervised people in professional roles which are not officially classed as therapy roles, but which require therapy skills. Such roles as listener, teacher, nurse, social worker, prison visitor, etc.
The best way to arrange supervision is to come for a free initial meeting of 30 minutes. It is perfectly acceptable to try several supervisors in this way, before deciding who to work with.
