Supervision details
I am an Integrative psychotherapist and supervisor offering one to one supervision to therapists of all modalities both face to face in Hove, and online.
I am a firm believer in the transformative potential of the therapeutic relationship and the importance of cultivating genuine connections grounded in authenticity, congruence, empathy, and mutual respect. I view supervision not only as a means of ensuring ethical and competent practice but also as an opportunity for personal and professional growth. I am naturally curious, and utilise this in my practice. I listen to my gut, and I help my supervisees to connect with their own inner voice. Through authentic connection and playful exploration, I empower my supervisees to deepen their understanding of therapeutic dynamics and refine their clinical skills.
With my guidance and support, supervisees can navigate the complexities of their therapeutic work with confidence and integrity.
I have 10 years experience as a psychotherapist, with 8 years of experience in private practice. My areas of specialism include trauma, addiction, and self esteem.
My core training was Integrative and included a focus on humanistic, existential, psychodynamic and CBT therapy. I have since trained and become Accredited as an EMDR practitioner, and completed various CPDs which have allowed me to integrate elements of Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems, and Sand Tray therapy amongst others into my work.
I hold a Supervision Diploma from Connexus Institute.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
