Supervision details
I have completed the academic part of my supervision course, using the 7 Eyed Model and am looking for qualified counsellors to volunteer as a supervisee, to enable me to fully qualify.
I aim to provide a safe, productive and generative space to enable reflection and growth. Supporting, reviewing and challenging, when necessary, ethical standards within supervisees’ practice. Sharing resources, knowledge and expertise, whilst providing honest and constructive feedback.
Sessions can be in-person in Hullbridge, Essex or held remotely, on-line via Zoom or by telephone, which ever works for you.
The first 5 sessions are free and if you choose to continue, the following five sessions will be at a reduced rate.
In 2015, I qualified as a Child & Adolescent Person-Centred Counsellor. For the past 10 years, I have worked part-time with a local Charity offering counselling to children, young people and adults, responsible for all safeguarding within the organisation and finally as Clinical Lead, being clinical line manager to the counselling team.
In 2017, I opened a part-time private practice, working with all age groups. Although my core training was person-centred, I now work with a lot of trauma and since doing some inspiring training, I have a keen interest in and work with ‘parts’ – IFS. Working with play and creatively are also important aspects of how I work, using sand-tray, paints, drawing, playdoh, puppets, storytelling and other mediums to support exploration and expression.
If you are interested in volunteering as a supervisee and feel we could be a good fit, please do not hesitate to contact me, I look forward to hearing from you.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
