Supervision details
I am a Clinical Psychologist trained as a Relational Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with a special focus on Attachment. I have worked in both inpatient and community mental health settings as well as seeing private clients. My practice specialises in complex and difficult to treat clients, but incorporates a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural presentations. I have completed the British Psychological Society's Supervision training and am on their register. Through my Lead Psychologist roles, I have offered supervision to Clinical, Forensic and Counselling Psychologists as well as to Assistant Psychologists and Trainees. In addition, I have supervised community workers, Arts Psychotherapists and Counsellors. I keep developing my skills with ongoing training in various fields and in Supervision Practice; particularly in offering supervision within the psychodynamic modality.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
