Supervision details
I am able to offer Clinical Supervision to individual counsellors and counsellors in training, as well as to groups. Our sessions are confidential and offer you the time and space to explore and talk about anything you like (within legal limitations). Our sessions would last one hour and the frequency of these would be discussed together at your initial session. What you can expect from me as your Supervisor -You can contact me, as your supervisor between sessions if there is an emergency or something that cannot wait until the next session.You will feel comfortable enough to explore your work at depth, including areas that you are uncertain about and any challenges you are facing.You should experience enough safety and warmth to be vulnerable in front of me as your supervisor.We will have an honest and genuine relationship which will provide space to give feedback to each other on the work we do together.I would hope to become aware of your level of experience and development so that we can work at an appropriate level i.e. trainee counsellors have different needs from experienced counsellors. You feel challenged at a level that is suitable for you.
Supervision cost £50 (1 hour) £75 (1.5 hours) £40 (1 hour) student rate (seen fortnightly)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
