I am able to offer Clinical Supervision to individual counsellors and counsellors in training, as well as to groups.

Our sessions are confidential and offer you the time and space to explore and talk about anything you like (within legal limitations). Our sessions would last one hour and the frequency of these would be discussed together at your initial session.

What you can expect from me as your Supervisor -

You can contact me, as your supervisor between sessions if there is an emergency or something that cannot wait until the next session.

You will feel comfortable enough to explore your work at depth, including areas that you are uncertain about and any challenges you are facing.

You should experience enough safety and warmth to be vulnerable in front of me as your supervisor.

We will have an honest and genuine relationship which will provide space to give feedback to each other on the work we do together.

I would hope to become aware of your level of experience and development so that we can work at an appropriate level i.e. trainee counsellors have different needs from experienced counsellors.

You feel challenged at a level that is suitable for you.

Supervision cost

  • £35 (1 hour) £50 (1.5 hours)
  • £30 (1 hour) student rate

Flexible appointments offered and I am able to see your workplace if this would be preferable to your needs.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
