Supervision details
I offer individual clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors, therapists and Counselling Psychologists. My approach is integrative, I aim is to support a supervisee's learning as he/she develops an understanding of theory and therapeutic practice. I am an external primary supervisor for London Met University for their doctoral trainees in Counselling Psychology, and for Metanoia, for their Counselling Psychology and Integrative Psychotherapy trainees. I also supervise for Geshereu, a charity for the survivors of a religious cult. Online group supervision (with a maximum of 4) is a low cost option for trainees and recently qualified people.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
