Supervision details
I am an accredited supervisor within the code of Baat (British Association of art Psychotherapists).I have 5 years post qualification experience, working individually and in groups with children from age 5 to 18 years with complex difficulties ranging from experiences of trauma and abuse, diagnoses of autism and learning difficulties, bereavement and loss, depression as well as other difficulties. I work with adult survivors of abuse of various descriptions, symptoms of post traumatic stress and personality disorder within a mentalisation framework. My background before training was in adult mental health and personality disorder. My approach is within a psychodynamic framework so compatible with many counselling approaches, except person centred. Please feel able to contact me for a fuller discussion or to meet for a 'trial' supervision without commitment to see if we can usefully work together.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
