Supervision details
I offer individual supervision for trainees, qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. My supervisory, psychotherapeutic and teaching approach is integrative, drawing on a number of theoretical models including humanistic and psychodynamic theories.
The use of creative methods are a profound and powerful way to explore, understand and illuminate this soul work, and an important part of how we may reflect in Supervision together. Both as a senior lecturer, tutor and supervisor, I aim to establish a safe enough environment for a co-created, co-imagined and collaborate space where we can acknowledge the growth and challenges of this work, explore insights and build skills towards enhancing our professional communications. Diversity and ethics are integral to our focus.
As well as my Arts background ( Central St Martins, Theatre & dance), I hold a diploma in Creative Approaches to Supervision from The London Centre for Psychodrama, Group Practitioner Diploma (IGA), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy training (Level 1 & 2) & MA Integrative Psychotherapy (IATE). I teach all the arts in therapy at IATE, specialising in bodywork.
My fees for supervision are £75 per 50 minute session
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
