Supervision details
British Association of Art Therapists approved supervisor.
I have been a practising art psychotherapist since 2008, and since 2010 have offered clinical supervision and staff support. I have worked in a range of environments including the NHS, community settings, private practice, higher education and charities. Outside of clinical supervision, I have provided reflective practice to non-therapists, including mental health nurses, mental health practitioners, community support workers and trainee therapists.
My approach is compassionate and psychodynamic, taking into account the emotional, social and economic dimensions to our work roles. While trained as an art psychotherapist, art-making is not a requirement of my work as a clinical supervisor and reflective support.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
