Supervision details
I offer clinical supervision to psychotherapists, Psychologists and trainee Psychologists. I also provide coaching supervision to qualified coaches, and assess applications for Chartership with the BPS.
Given the use of video-conferencing for supervision appointments, I currently work with supervises across the UK and internationally. My approach to supervision aims to mirror the key components of effective therapy - providing a safe reflective space, using the relationship to explore more difficult emotions and beliefs, and seeking to provide the supervised with the help they need to feel confident and supported in their practice. I draw upon a range of theoretical models, including coaching frameworks. I also offer supervision to coaches, either to support their own professional practice or as part of their formal qualification process as a coach.
British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
