Supervisor Sue Kelly
I am experienced in supervision of groups and individuals.
My approach is informed by person-centred therapy, focusing practice and theory and Hawkins & Shohet's Seven-eyed model. I am experienced in supervising counsellors from various modalities including person-centred, psychodynamic, Gestalt and CBT.
For me, the point of supervision is to ensure counselling takes place that is satisfying and ethical for all parties, by supporting the counsellor's personal and professional development, learning and self-care within a safe and trusting relationship, which is also interesting and may be challenging.
I enjoy using creative methods such as drawing and playing with soft toys, if that is something that you might find helpful.
I am available for supervision most days and times of day; I charge £40 per hour. Contact me for a free exploratory meeting. I can see supervisees either at Kelvingrove Street, or at my home close to Kelvinbridge Subway station.
