Supervisor Sue Kelly
I am experienced in supervision of groups and individuals.
My approach is grounded in person-centred therapy and experiential focusing. I have supervised counsellors from various modalities including person-centred, psychodynamic, Gestalt and CBT.
For me, the point of supervision is to help ensure counselling that is satisfying and ethical for client and counsellor alike. I prioritise the counsellor's self-identified needs for personal and professional learning as an essential underpinning to the client-counsellor relationship. I aspire to enabling counsellor development and self-care within a safe, trusting, supportive and equal relationship, which may be challenging.
I enjoy using creative methods using, for example, drawing or playing with soft toys, if that is something that you might enjoy too. It can help 'get you out of your head', if that is what you need.
My availability is the same as for counselling. I charge £40 per hour. Contact me for a free exploratory meeting.
I prefer to supervise face-to-face, but will exceptionally consider meeting online or by phone.
