My supervision practice has a person-centred foundation, with a creative element and a strong focus on empowering you in your practice. As your supervisor I intend on working on building a solid, professional, collaborative relationship with you and offering you my objective thoughts and reflections to help you in your relationship with your clients. In addition to talking any issues through, I may suggest we work creatively by using action work, creative tools/media or creative thinking. You are free to choose not to work in this way, however I would encourage you to be open to these avenues of exploration. These methods may, at times, be very enlightening, allowing you to feel confident in exploring your practice in a new way, and hopefully allowing you to see your clients from a different perspective, thus provoking therapeutic change in your clients.
