Supervision details
I provide face-to-face clinical supervision in central Exeter, Devon, as well as online across the UK, for counsellors, psychotherapists, and other professionals working with people. I supervise practitioners at all levels, from trainee counsellors to experienced clinicians, offering a safe, reflective space to explore client cases, professional development, ethical practice, and the emotional impact of therapeutic work.
I work relationally and ethically, guided by the BACP Ethical Framework, and use the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision to deepen awareness of professional practice, interpersonal dynamics, and systemic influences, supporting reflective growth and ethical decision-making across a range of helping professions
What to expect from working with me as your supervisor:
I really believe in developing a strong working relationship with each of my supervisees, that can be light-hearted, and always deeply professional. I see it as my role to help you to question and challenge yourself and to make the most of your inner resources, at the same time I will offer my knowledge and experience to help you get the most out of your work with clients. I have a very accepting attitude towards my supervisees and always seek to foster an environment of support, curiosity and gentle encouragement even in the face of mistakes or areas that may be outside of your awareness. I don't see it as my job to tell anybody off or to create any sense of shame, more as an opportunity to explore your relationship to your profession, your clients and with yourself.
I have particular expertise working with the LGBTQI+ community, polyamorous relationships, the kink scene, domestic violence, anxiety and depression, spirituality and transpersonal areas including meditation and grounding techniques.
I've also taught counselling at degree level, giving me a strong understanding of the academic, professional, and placement requirements faced by trainee counsellors.
With over 15 years’ experience as a counsellor, I have worked across a wide range of presenting issues and settings. I offer both online and in-person supervision, and I am happy to work flexibly at a frequency that meets your individual needs and professional requirements.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
