I am an experienced BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and I work with a Humanistic and Intergrative model of therapy.  I have 10 years of counselling experience with 7 years in private practice.  I am currently engaged in a 4 year programme of learning that will lead to accreditation with the International Intergrative Psychotherapy Association (IIPA).

My approach is relational and developmentally attuned, taking into account attachment theories.  I am also experienced in working with couples and work affirmatively with LGBTQ+ people or people struggling to understand their identity.  I also work a lot with issues around body image.  I have experience of working short term (EAP, brief structured models) and long term with clients.

I am currently training as a supervisor to post graduate diploma level and I have availability to take on new supervisees.  My approach to supervision mirrors my therapy approach, I will work with you to build a safe space where you can bring your client work that offers understanding, empathy and growth.

I offer low cost supervision options for qualified and experienced counsellors, newly qualified counsellors or those in training.  Please contact me for further details.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Wheelchair user access

Narborough - The front door of my premises is a UPVC so involves a small step but once inside, there are no steps. There is a small toilet next door to the counselling space. Thurmaston - I work upstairs and the stairs are relatively steep.

I  currently have some availability - please contact me for further details.

I am currently working online or offering telephone counselling.
