Supervision details
Welcome to my supervision profile. Based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, I specialize in Person-Centred Counselling Supervision, offering a supportive space for therapists to reflect, grow, and refine their practice. With a dedicated commitment to the Person-Centred Approach (PCA), my supervision style is rooted in fostering a deep understanding of your unique therapeutic voice and helping you navigate the complexities of your client relationships with confidence and compassion.
A Collaborative Beginning
Understanding the importance of a supervisory relationship that resonates with your personal and professional values, I offer a free initial meeting. This session is an opportunity for us to discuss your supervision needs, explore how I can support your practice, and ensure our approaches are aligned. It's also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work as a supervisor and decide if my style suits your development goals.
Experience and Expertise
With a Certificate in Supervision from the Manchester Institute of Psychotherapy (June 2014) and 12 years of experience in providing supervision, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to our sessions. My approach is deeply ingrained in the Person-Centred Approach, emphasizing authenticity, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
While I stay true to PCA principles, I welcome and have experience supervising integrative practitioners and professionals from various disciplines, including teaching and youth work. My core supervision work is around the therapeutic relationship, as well as supporting you through any difficult aspects of your practice. I have particular experience of supporting supervisees through the development of successful private practices.
I have particular experience of supervising counsellors who work within LGBT/GSRD/queer spaces, communities and organisations.
Investing in Your Professional Growth
For each 1.5-hour supervision session, my fee is £75. These sessions are designed to be an investment in your professional development, providing you with a reflective and nurturing space to explore your practice, client dynamics, and personal growth as a therapist.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
