Supervisor Anna Parker, Registered and Accredited MBACP Counsellor and Supervisor
As a counsellor, the collaborative working relationship of supervision has been key in my development as a practitioner. To be trusted as a therapist means I can bring all of my work to my supervisor, so we engage in the process together.
Theoretical Approaches include:
- Inskipp and Proctor
- Hawkins and Shohet
I suggest that we have a brief phone consultation (0208 417 0671 /07766 012857) to see if the way I work sounds like it would suit your preferred way of working. If we decide to meet, my usual practice is to suggest an initial 3 sessions and then review how our work is going.
Supervision of my work
The BACP ethical framework includes as good practice that all supervisors have access to consultation. In my case, this is from a highly experienced senior accredited supervisor.
