Audrey Smith, BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist

Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire, G66
07749 416743 07749 416743 Registered / Accredited

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and completed my supervision training at Strathclyde University in September 2015.

My core training was in the psychodynamic and person-centred approaches, and since 2009, I have done a PGDip in CBT and Groupwork. In September 2010 I started an organisation called Greenwood Events which was set up to offer affordable CPD to counsellors in Scotland (www.greenwoodevents.co.uk).  Therefore, over the years I have gained access to a wealth of rich and diverse CPD.  I now regard myself as an integrative practitioner and I have a collaborative approach to supervision.

I have had experience as a Practice Manager in a counselling centre and I work in private practice.  Before becoming a therapist, I worked and ran a networking organisation and therefore can also offer business and marketing assistance to counsellors interested in setting up in private practice.

I work mainly from my home in Milton of Campsie, which is to the north of Glasgow.

Fees: £50 per hour, £70 for one and a half hours.
Students £40 per hour, £60 for one and a half hours.

Feel free to call for an initial chat on 07749416743.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
