Supervision details
I offer person-centred supervision, which means that I aim to create with you a collaborative relationship within which we can explore your work with clients and how you use yourself within these relationships. I am open to exploring our relationship too if that is helpful. I would aim for us to be creative in working together, to find the most growthful ways for you to work and express yourself. I also aim to be thorough as a supervisor in helping you to explore the ethical, organisational theoretical and personal issues which your work may touch upon.I am experienced as a supervisor of counsellors working with children and young people as well as adults. Above all, I aim to offer a safe and accepting space for you and your work.I work from a person-centred perspective but I can work with people from other theoretical orientations. I also have an interest in attachment based approaches, systemic approaches and narrative approaches.
