I have been working for many years as a supervisor supporting both qualified and trainee counsellors as well as other professionals working within the helping professions.  My experience has included supervising individuals and small groups both in my private practice and within organisations, including school settings and the NHS.

As a BACP Accredited counsellor I have worked with individuals, couples and young people with a wide variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship problems, self-harm and many other issues, and I have experience of interacting with GPs, consultants, CAMHS and other relevant professionals.

My working experience has included working for the NHS, managing a counselling service within a GP surgery, working extensively with young people and teaching professionals in both a school setting and my private practice, and supervising trainee counsellors working in a placement setting.

I offer individual supervision at the rate of £50 for a 50 minute session with up to 15 minutes phone support free of charge between sessions if required.  I also offer a reduced rate of £45 for trainee counsellors and for counsellors during their first year post qualification.

Please contact me if you would like further information.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
