Supervision details

I hold a Diploma in supervision and I am also a BACP Accredited Supervisor. I am happy to offer supervision to those in training or those who are already qualified. My supervision practice is predominately informed by my use of Hawkins and Shohet (2000) seven eyed supervisor model. This model is a very holistic one which not only focuses on the processes within both the therapy and supervisory matrices but also takes into consideration the wider context which may impinge upon these processes. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging relationship with my supervisee's in which issues can be handled with trust. My cost for supervision is £55.00 per hour, or £82.50 for one and a half hours which is the minimal monthly requirement for BACP accreditation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
