Roland Tolley MBACP Senior Accredited Counsellor & Supervisor

Beckenham, Kent, BR3
07914 209 928 07914 209 928 Registered / Accredited

I have a CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Clinical Supervision and have worked as a Group Supervisor for about a year at the West London Centre for Counselling (WLCC) supervising a group of three trainee counsellors.

I have an integrative background in counselling so I am comfortable with counselling approaches from many different modalities and I have been trained in a number of different models of supervision which will allow me to meet your needs whether you are in training, newly qualified, or have been counselling for some time.

At a basic level my approach aims to combine:

Support: Offering support in the demands of your work.

Challenge: To consider together ethical issues arising, the quality of the work, and to collaborate in finding alternative approaches in meeting your clients' needs.

Education: Helping to expand knowledge and understanding of counselling work.

At a more advance level where appropriate I will addiionally work with you to consider the impact on the work of the counselling-client and supervisor-supervisee relationships. internal processes, and transference / countertransference responses, in order to enhance the work.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
