Supervision details

I offer supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainees at all stages of their professional journey. My approach is Integrative and Existential, grounded in over 30 years of clinical experience and supported by advanced training — an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy, a Doctorate in Existential Psychotherapy, and a professional certificate in supervision.

In supervision, I focus on the relational aspects of therapy, the working alliance, and the practical challenges of day-to-day clinical work. My aim is to provide a reflective and supportive space where supervisees can develop their confidence, refine their practice, and deepen their understanding of the therapeutic process.

As a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, author, and educator, I bring both academic rigour and lived professional insight to supervision. I work with practitioners across modalities who value the opportunity to explore their work in depth and to maintain high standards of ethical and effective practice.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
