I have been supervising students and professionals from many backgrounds for over twenty years. My supervision is mainly from a psychodynamic perspective but there is some flexibility and a more eclectic approach in later years.
I am a psychoanalytically trained Psychotherapist with the BPF and I have a Diploma in Supervision of Counselling from the Westminster Pastoral Foundation. I have a Clinical Doctorate in Psychotherapy from Kent University and have published papers in journals and books about burnout and the use of language and metaphor in social work and psychotherapy.
I like to draw up a contract with each supervisee that is tailored to their goals and needs and what I think I can offer.
