Supervisor

Supervision details

I am a trained NHS CBT clinical supervisor with experience supporting newly qualified CBT therapists as they develop confidence, competence and their professional identity. I provide a collaborative and reflective supervision space where therapists can discuss clinical challenges openly, explore uncertainty and strengthen their practice without fear of judgement.

My supervision is grounded in CBT principles and aligned with BABCP standards. I support therapists to develop their assessment, formulation and intervention skills, while maintaining a strong focus on the therapeutic relationship, ethical practice, risk management and adapting therapy to individual needs. I also draw on ACT and Compassion-Focused Therapy where these approaches may enrich clinical understanding and practice.

I have experience reviewing recorded therapy sessions, using competency measures such as the CTS-R and providing clear, balanced and constructive feedback. My approach combines support with appropriate challenge, helping therapists recognise their existing strengths while identifying achievable areas for development.

Supervision can be tailored to your stage of practice, learning goals and clinical setting, whether you are newly qualified, developing confidence with complex presentations or seeking a thoughtful space to reflect on your work.
