Supervision details
I offer somatic, depth-oriented supervision for practitioners and leaders who carry responsibility in their work and want a reflective space that is steady, thoughtful, and ethically grounded.
Supervision with me supports clear thinking about client work, while also making space for your own lived experience of the work. My approach is relational and embodied, attending not only to what is spoken, but also to what may be held in the body, the nervous system, and the wider relational field.
This work is especially supportive for sensitive practitioners and those who notice quieter or less visible aspects of the work, shifts in atmosphere, felt sense, imagery, dream material, or intuitive knowing. In supervision, these are welcomed as meaningful forms of information that can be explored with care, reflection, and ethical discernment.
I also support practitioners to deepen their somatic awareness and develop embodied, heart-led ways of working. This includes growing trust in the body as a source of information, guidance, and steadiness within practice.
I bring over 27 years of experience across counselling, somatic practice, supervision, and therapeutic facilitation. My work has been shaped within private practice, charities, community and educational settings, national training organisations, and justice environments in both the UK and the United States. I am also an approved supervisor for university students and have supported group supervision within a transpersonal training organisation.
I have a particular depth of experience in trauma-impacted work. My supervision is informed by long-term study and lived experience of working with complex material, with careful attention to safety, pacing, integration, and nervous system capacity.
This supervision may be especially supportive for counsellors, psychotherapists, somatic practitioners, innerdance facilitators, sound therapists, and leaders working in high-intensity or trauma-impacted contexts. It is also well suited to those who value depth, relational practice, dream work, and embodied or creative ways of knowing.
My writing has been published in Thresholds, the journal of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, where I explored the ethical use of therapeutic touch in somatic practice and introduced innerdance as a sound healing modality.
I offer supervision online and in person by arrangement. Group and organisational supervision is also available.
