Supervision details
I offer supervision to a range of professionals, not only psychologists, focused on providing person centred support and the conditions for professional development.
My area of speciality is in working with neurodiversity (Autism and ADHD). This includes adapting psychological therapies and Neurodevelopmental Assessment. In my NHS role, I am a clinical lead for an adult autism diagnostic service, where I provide clinical leadership and supervision to the team. I contribute to the training of clinical psychologists in both supervising placements and in teaching on the Clinical psychology doctorate. I also train professionals in autism assessment and I’m able to offer specialist supervision in assessment and the use of relevant tools.
In addition to my neurodevelopmental focused work, I am very interested in psychological therapies. I have an interest in third wave CBT approaches, particularly in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In my NHS role I am co-chair for our trust ACT special interest group and offer specialist supervision in using ACT as a model.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
