Supervision details
I offer clinical supervision to trainee and qualified therapists and practitioners seeking a reflective, supportive, and ethical space to grow in their professional roles. I love having the opportunity to see the work from other therapists and provide a space for reflection and development. I have extensive experience of supervising trainee and qualified CBT therapists and trainee CWPs, as well as mentors and well-being practitioners within schools and charities. I have a special interest in the BABCP accreditation process and have developed workshops to guide practitioners through the KSA and BABCP accreditation application.
I am privileged to be able to work at a leading University as a tutor on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Children and Young People Post Graduate Diploma, helping develop newly trained CBT therapists. I love this role, as it means I have the pleasure of experiencing new therapists develop and grow, in addition to ensuring I am following the latest evidence-based practices within treatment of mental health difficulties.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
